A Walk On The Pier

Today we went for a walk on the world's longest pier.

It is 1.3 miles long.

At the end is the RNLI lifeboat station.

The pier is so long it has a train on it.

We got the train back.
As we were getting on the train some people turned up wearing angel wings. We think they were students, making a film...or maybe not?

There was a cool display at the pier entrance. This counted as the history lesson!

Then off to a nice cosy coffee shop to warm ourselves up.
