We had another reason to go down to the sea today. This month the home baked challenge is all about local produce.
So we went to the local fishing co-op and bought some hake. They also sold us some samphire (which grows locally). The potatoes are from the supermarket but were grown locally.
Hake in an agrodolce sauce (tomato puree, mixed nuts, ginger, garlic, salad burnet, fresh basil, balsamic vinegar and sugar), with Marsh Samphire, and pan fried potatoes.

It looks gorgeous! How fantastic to be able to go and buy freshly caught fish by the sea.
ReplyDeleteThanks for entering :o)
Thanks Hannah! it is hard to photograph food to do it justice. It looks a bit shiny there and cold! But it certainly tasted good :)
